Belt construction

Chevron & Profiled Belting

Textile-reinforced base belts with moulded profiles for improved material retention on inclines.

Product overview

Built around the duty.

Double Arrow chevron conveyor belt on a production reel
Integrally moulded chevron profile on a textile-reinforced base belt.

Chevron and profiled belts add moulded carrying-side geometry to a textile-reinforced base belt. The carcass remains responsible for belt strength, flexibility and pulley behaviour, while the profile supports material retention on the incline.

Construction & selection

What defines this product.

  • Multi-ply textile base belt
  • Integrally hot-moulded profiles reduce separation risk
  • Flexible profile compound supports fatigue resistance
  • Open patterns assist drainage in wet duties
  • Profile geometry selected for material, capacity and incline

Typical applications

Where it fits.

  • 01Inclined aggregate conveyors
  • 02Mobile and fixed plant
  • 03Bagged and unit handling
  • 04Quarry, recycling and agricultural duties

Available configurations

Configure the construction.

  • 01

    Open-V and closed-V chevron

  • 02

    Open-Y and closed-Y patterns

  • 03

    Multi-V profiles

  • 04

    Rough-top and application-specific profile designs

Selection inputs

What we need to confirm.

  • 01

    Incline or decline angle

  • 02

Material type, lump size and moisture

  • 03

    Required capacity and belt speed

  • 04

    Return-idler arrangement and pulley diameters

  • 05

Profile height, pitch and open area

Specification note

*Maximum width depends on the selected profile and configuration. Profile height and pattern are not substitutes for correct carcass selection; belt tension, pulley diameters and transition geometry remain part of the base-belt design.
