Pipe conveyor belting forms an enclosed tube after loading. Its carcass must provide longitudinal tensile capacity while controlling transverse rigidity so the belt closes, remains stable through the route and opens correctly at the discharge.

Specification note

Pipe-belt rigidity is project-specific. It should be assessed with the conveyor designer using pipe diameter, overlap, loading, horizontal and vertical curves, transitions and ambient conditions.
